HERITAGE AND THE FUTURE
The idea of establishing the Institute for Applied Studies emerged from the belief that scientific progress cannot be achieved without understanding and preserving the heritage upon which modern society is built.
Since its foundation, the Institute has been committed to safeguarding scientific, educational, and cultural heritage, recognizing the importance of historical books, publications, archival materials, and the scientific achievements of previous generations. At the same time, the Institute strives to make this valuable knowledge accessible to new generations of researchers and to connect it with contemporary scientific developments and challenges.
For this reason, the development of library collections, scientific publications, research projects, and educational programs is viewed as an integrated whole, aimed at preserving tradition, fostering a culture of knowledge, and encouraging new scientific achievements.
We believe that understanding the past is a prerequisite for shaping the future, and that science, education, and culture are enduring values upon which the progress of every society is built.
